From Derek Jeter on the importance of being prepared, practice and repetition:
“My biggest fear in life, on or off the field, is to be unprepared – for anything. I’ve always relied on practice, repetition and discipline, so not being prepared makes me nervous and uncomfortable.
The more you do things, the more they become second nature. Once that happens, you no longer have to think, you just do.
That is what practice is for – to think about what you’re doing and how it’s all working, hopefully when you play it all comes to."
